withdrawal from codeine - ?symptoms after 4 days use

I have taken 30mg of codeine for past four mornings for back pain, and took one extra 30mg yesterday afternoon.

I am suffering from feeling jumpy, muscle cramps and twitches. Is there any change this can be codeine related?

Could well be. AFAIK, there's no particular dosage or amount needed to be taken to produce withdrawal symptoms, just a dose prescribed by the Dr to minimise addiction/habit forming.

The thing is, I can't really comment because although I have taken co-codamol 30/500mg for years for back pain and stopped suddenly, I didn't have ANY withdrawal symptoms .
