I was having pregnancy symptoms before my last period was due took a test when it was late. I got a BFN. I did finally get my period (6 days late and only very light for 2 days which is not usual for me). I was hoping that the other symptoms would have disappeared, but I still feel very sick all day, sensitive to smells, sore boobs and some period type aches. I know I can't be pregnant because of the BFN's and period, but I am worried about what it could be. I went to the GP yesterday who asked me to give him a urine sample this morning to test for pregnancy and infection - I handed it in at 8:00 but have had no call, so can I assume that it would have been negative for both of those things? What else could be wrong? Worrying about PCOS and endometriosis now, mentioned by a friend. Anyone have any ideas?

It's possible that you are pregnant and that what you had was an implantation bleed rather than a period. Not sure why they haven't responded but most likely is that they just haven't got round to it yet. Do ou have another test you could try

I don't know, but when I was pg with ds1 I had a very light period which I thought was odd, so tested and got a BFP.
Hope you get some answers soon.

Yep sounds like you are pregnant and it's an implatation bleed. I had this with both of my pregnancies.

Yes, thank you mince, and thanks for the replies. I haven't got another test so I will call the doctors tomorrow and see what's going on. If the tests come back negative, I might ask for a blood test to see if anything is wrong. I'm still getting small cramps and aches like period pains. Thanks again everyone, I can't talk to anyone in RL, DP is not well at the moment and don't want to put any more stress on him.
