Flu jab for all babies proposed!

Is anyone alse just exasperated (sp) with this ?

I mean, yet another jab that isn't even intended to protect babies at all, it's for the adults. Also, i heard on the News yesterday that 30%of old people offered the jab don't even go for it! I know there are exeptional circumatances (like Misdee's DP and people veruy vulnerable) but it's one jab my dd won't be having.

Any opinions?

I don't normally do sweary abbreviations on here, but I think this calls for a hearty cry of WTF?????

Yeah, chuck more cr*p into small children, silly not to. Oh, and by the way, we're not even trying to protect them, its the grownups we're after, but we're more likely to get the toddlers immunised (probably need a smaller dose so it saves money).

After having the HV round yesterday to give me the new red book, and telling me about the new bloody cocktail my baby is meant to have at 8 weeks (because polio being all mixed in to a jab is for some reason so much better for them than the drops??), the thought of flu as well, ARGH!

Sod household sprays leading to an increase in leukemia, and autism rising due to change in diet - pump less cr*p into teeny bodies, then measure the rates.

I'm not even anti-jabs, just less at a time, and less so early.

Here here Flamesparrow. I'm actually not anti jabs either, it just seems that they are trying to cure all the worlds ailments with our babies!

Keep thinking about this ... was wondering how many adults would be prepared to be immunised at age 30 (random age) for something that would protect children?? I'm thinking that unless they are a parent, not many!
