Concussion recovery

I walked into a wall (yes really!) and felt awful; dizzy, bad headache on one side and blurry vision. 4 days later and I'm still not feeling fantastic, although better than I did. I've been to A&E and they said it's nothing more serious than a bit of concussion. They said to rest for a few days but they didn't say how long I could expect to feel like this.

Any personal experiences please?

DD was concussed once. The doctor described it as having a bruise on the brain and said it can take up to two weeks to heal.

Took me 6 weeks I'm afraid

(walked at high speed into scaffolding, cleverly)

Took about 2 weeks for me to get back to normalish - but I had 2 nights in hospital with mine (falling down the stairs at a nightclub!)

My son had concussion a couple of weeks ago, he had headaches, and queasiness for about 5 days after (mild though)

I had whiplash too which was probably worse than the concussion

Thanks all. Feeling a bit better tonight but not quite myself and still excessively tired.
