Whats everyones view on C&G Growing up milk, any good, worth using. My lo drinks sufficient milk and takes extra vitamin drops. Just wondered if it is worth while me putting him onto growing up milk as well as ordinary milk.

Bit concerned that lo is now developing in growth as much as should be.

Advice needed please.

It's marketing bollocks.
Many discussions about this if you search the archives.

How old is your lo?

I would see a HV/GP if you are concerned about growth. A child on a normal healthy diet (i.e. with the right amount of calories/fat for age) should grow properly without the need for fortified milk - milk's got plenty of vitamins in it anyway if it's full fat.

i agree its all marketing hype to make parents feel they have to spend more £ to do the best for their kids!

In reality of course he will get all the vitamins and minerals he needs from a normal diet, like the rest of the human race has doen for centuries!
