Vaginal Prolapse?

It could just be me being paranoid, but I get this feeling it might not be. I had my first child in August last year, a whopping 10lbs!

I've spent almost an hour trying to go to the toilet up until now, and although my bladder is telling me there is urine in there, it won't come out. At all. I've tried er, various different positions Blush to get it to come out, including trying to relax and moving around, but no luck.

So, fed up, I had a feel down there to see if I could tell what was going on. TMI but I feel a large squishy bulge that moves up and down depending on whether I'm pushing for a wee/poo or not. Blush Is this normal? I've never checked, and never needed to, either!

What I do know is that it's frustrating and I can't sleep because of the pressure on my bladder.

Yes, sounds like it to me.

Erm, again TMI, but can you go if you hold or support the bulge with your fingers. How long have you been unable to go? If you spend some time standing up (I assume you have been lying in bed) does it help? I often find it hard to pee in the night when I have been lying down & I have a mild proplase.

You need to get to the doctors & get checked out. And obviously urgently if you remain unable to pee. And don't panic - prolapse is really common, many women have no idea they have one. Physiotheraphy & kegel type exercises are very likely all you need to sort it.

TMI warning:
I tried to get erm, as much as wee out as possible but there was still some left in there. Tried this morning, was able to urinate but still slightly feels like there is some left in there.

The 'bulge' feels unnatural to me though. I'm just shocked considering I'm quite young and I didn't think it would happen to me! I'll call the doctor this morning, I hope it isn't anything serious though.

I seem to be noticing bits of light colored blood on the tissue when I wipe, it's not that time of the month and I can't think of another cause for it. Is it related?

Called the doctor and asked if I could talk with them (need to stay in the house as DP left keys at home) and they said they probably wouldn't be able to talk to me until after surgery hours. (We have a quite bad practise but it's the closest one to us).
