Random Period (possibly tmi)

I know this is probably tmi, but I am a little worried. I have PCOS and normally have really heavy painful periods so wasn't surprised to see AF arrive with a lot of pain, but this time there was a huge amount of blood clots and tissue for 3 days with a lot of blood (like after I had MC but definitely not pg this time), but now it has turned into very watery blood and a light pink colour and not much of it. Just wondered if anyone else has had a similar experience and whether there was a reason to it if so?

Happens to me, i had 2-3 periods in a row like this (was passing huge clots) ,by the time i went to the GP it had calmed down, GP wanted me to have coil fitted but i refussed. I'm not sure what caused it though, sorry i cant be more help.
