I am going to ask to see a foot specialist- am insured- and may have either an arthritic big toes joint or a bunion- or both!
DH had the former and had an op and was fine after 3 weeks- back running. But I have heard that bunion ops are risky and not always succcessful.
Anyone?
It doesn't look big, but I get odd stabs of pain even when I am not walking, around the side of my foot where a bunion would be, and across the top of my big toe. There is deformity there and I know it's down to lots of exercise over the last 3 years.
I don't wear high heels!
