what's the shortest course of amoxycillin you've ever been given?

I want to stop taking mine .. but know I should complete course .. have been given a 7 day course .. could I consider it complete at 5 days (or even 3)

am not being stupid here ..its 2nd course of antibiotics for this infection (and previously took 4 courses a couple of months back) and they're playing with my head

How are you feeling now - do you think that the infection is gone?

Pretty sure mine has always been one week.

3 days is the shortest course you can take but for this the dose must accuratly prescribed by dr.
I would't recommened cutting the course shorst this second time or you could build up a resistance to amoxil and then you will have probs if this infection does not clear up.
Arm yourself with probiotics and plenty of water,hope you feel better soon

twiglett take the whole course: it'll be 7 days and not 5 for a reason.

yeah .. but reason is that GPs tend to be arses IMHO

I nearly smacked this one .. she looked 20 .. had no cellulite .. and deigned to patronise me 'oh it must be hard' says she in patronising voice of newly qualified doctor who has obviously seen it all
