Currently sporting a magnificent ear infection. Again.

Antibiotics and ear drops a couple of months ago. It's back.

But here's the odd thing.

Behind my ear is swollen up, ovalish shape, going back to my jaw. I can cup it snugly in the palm of my hand. Deaf in the ear although can hear whooshes and whistles. But it doesn't HURT. Last time it made me cry! This time the ear doesn't hurt at all although t's wet inside and feels 'full' iyswim. But my jaw and my eye do hurt. How weird is that? It seems to hurt inside my jaw itself. and it feels like there's pressure on the side of my eye socket.

Any ideas?

thanks. I would, I thought about it, but I'm alone with the kids and really can't do the whole waiting for hours and hours thing with them Grin

If I leave it until monday, is it likely to do me any damage? (Of course, if it starts to hurt, I would have to go) It's odd that my ear doesn't hurt though, isn't it? my jaw and eye hurt, but not my ear. Not even right behind it where it's swelled up like an egg!

Thanks. I had a call from my husband and he's on his way back anyway, so I might be able to get to the walk in centre later.

No idea. They WAIT for a weekend, don't they? earache, toothache. Surgeries close on a friday night and your body decides to go for it Grin

Anyway, got antibiotics now, so hopefully everything will settle down.

Thanks, tilda Smile
