For about 2 months I have a sore upper throat which starts during the night and is there first thing in the morning then it goes, also seem to have a constant cold where my nose streams at times and sometimes like today I have a headache that lasts all day and makes my eyes feel tired. Was wondering if it could be sinus, anyone with sinus have similar symptoms?

I have had exactly the same thing as you but not ongoing, more reoccurent i.e is hasnt been there for 2 months but i've had two bouts of it in two months, and previous to that as well. I saw my GP yesterday as i was just so fed up. She just said theres so much of it going round and people are finding it hard to shake it off. My (extremely) sore throat was better by the end of Wednesday but ive been left with a bugger of a cold, eyes and nose constantly streaming and sneezing all the time! Eyes are quite often itchy and sore. Nose full of gunk too (Sorry tmi) I too am wondering if its sinuses.
Not much help but your not alone and you have my sympathies!

I had a sore throat that started during the night and I think it might have been either (1) I was sleeping with my mouth open and drying it out or (2) the air in the bedroom was too dry as I kept the window shut for a few weeks and the central heating had been on all day.

DD2 seems to have had a sore throat on and off all winter.
Not bad enough for GP, but annoying.

Are you allergic to something in your bedroom? Or maybe the air is too dry and stuffy at night.
