Can I go swimming whilst treating thrush?

Google really doesn't want to seem to help me, and a quick search on Mumsnet hasn't thrown up any answers my question so I'd be really grateful for advice, if anyone has any please: I'm taking Caniflug nightly pessaries and cream for a thrush infection... my question is, is it alright for me to go swimming in the meantime? Thank you!! :)

Really not sure on this one tbh, If it was me I think I'd rather not go swimming, but if I had to then I'd put a tampon in?

I wouldnt, not sure chlorine is good for thrush.

i wouldnt.

the pessaries dissolve and you will have something of a discharge, either from the melting pessary or from the thrush itself, surely you are not using pessaries for long - a break in swimming wouldnt hurt.

Thanks folks. After what appeared the morning after my first pessary I have elected not to!! I just don't know if I should avoid going for a few days afterwards as well, because some sites suggest that it can be an actual cause of thrush. I suppose I'll go on the safe side and keep out of the water for a week or so. Thanks for the extra opinions!! :)
