What the title says really.
Am 39.
The past few months I have come on a few days early and then somewhere inbetween I have had some very light spotting. Lasts a day maybe 2. So light I could get away without a liner tbh.
This month, period started last Monday. For the first time in years I felt really ill with it. Nausea, faint and aches across my thighs and fuzzy headed. Was fine by Tuesday night and by Saturday it was done and dusted.
This morning I woke up to bright red flow. Had a few clots (normal for me). Its now a brown light flow, a little more than spotting and I do feel kind of "periody".
I have been feeling bloated since before Xmas and this week I have a very hard swollen tummy.
99.9% sure am not pregnant. If I am I must be 4 months or so because there has been no jiggy jiggy!! Had Smear 15 months ago which was clear.
Is this the menopause? Anyone had similar? Stupidly googled and scared myself.
Am off to see my GP Friday morning and wondered if anyone had any pointers or give me the heads up on anything particular I should be asking about or what may happen. Please tell me I wont need an internal????
