I do moisturise my heels but for some reason one foot is really badly cracked and actually really sore to walk on.

Im not that overweight to have a problem with my soles of my feet I have been wearing uggs for weeks now wondering if its that

Tried last night and this morning with rough skin remover and slathering in cream..still hurts..ouch

I'd go to a chiropodist......

twincrazy · 25/01/2012 16:17

im sure I can treat it at home...no need to land £35.00 in a chiropodist pocket

Flexitol Heel Balm, twice a day, preferably after soaking warm water/showering. Plenty of it. Should see results in a few days.

Could also try mixing olive oil, brown sugar and a tsp of honey to make a body scrub - you can use it all over (makes skin feel gorgeous) but it works well on my dry heels to soften them before applying Flexitol

You need to soak your tootsies and rub the dead skin off. Keep using the creams. There is a really good me - I think it is called Cracked Heels.

That's what it's called!

Yes Flexitol is fantastic, I often get the same as you, on just one foot, large sore cracks. I you are interested in a cheaper option my friend managed to get a big tub of Paraffin Wax for only a couple of pounds, it is fantastic to slather on before bedtime with some socks. (I couldnt find it anywhere though)

Flexitol is good. Lay it on thick and then cover with 100% cotton socks and go to bed. Also moisten from inside too, drink more water as this will help.
