GP's and NICE guidelines

Hi

Does anyone know if a GP has to follow the NICE guidelines?

Just wondering if they are rough guidelines that are good practice or are they actually the rules?

Guidance only. But they would have to show why they were going against best practice based on evidence - if you question/complaint that is
