I'd like to knows so I can suggest to my doctor what have other women taken to stop a period. Hi, transexamic acid shouldn't stop your periods but should make them lighter. I found with it that it made them longer but lighter.
If this doesn't suit you could ask for mefenamic acid or naproxen which are anti-inflammatories which also make your bleeding lighter. Another thing they will suggest is the Mirena coil.
