My poor DD was in agony this morning trying to do a pooh, I thought she was just constipated. When she finally managed to pooh I cleaned her up and noticed a small pile. I have some anusol (I am pregnant so not embarressed to admit to having had piles myself!!) but it says it is not recommeneded for children. I thought I would ask you expert advise first, rather than be fobbed off with anything from the chemist. Thanks in advance

Oh goodness, poor little thing (and poor you, too). Grated raw potato wrapped in a piece of gauze or muslin and left on for a while is supposed to be a good soother. Is your dd still in nappies?

I took DS (2.5) to the Doc with his pile and have now be referred to the paed doc so I would take your little one to the Doc as well and not use any creams for adults. I know its going to take a while but better safe than sorry
