Swollen lymph nodes behind ear

Ive got a row of pea-sized lumps behind my ear which I think are lymph nodes. I've got a sore throat (second bout in 2 months) which I assume is connected.

Do I need to see a GP or can I wait to see if the lumps disappear when I get rid of the sore throat?

If you go now, won't he just tell you that you have a sore throat? If the sore throat's manageable I'd wait a bit - they'll probably go down when they've finished doing their job.

That's what I'm not sure about. Are the lymph nodes anything to be concerned about, or are they just dealing with the sore throat? From your reply it sounds as though you think the latter?

Very normal to have swollen lymph nodes with a virus/sore throat!

Go see your GP if they haven't gone down a week or two after the sore throat is better Smile

Looks like Elibean and I are on the same wavelength.
