Fellow Fibromyalgia sufferers,Should I be worried about this?

For a while now I'v ebeen getting a pain in the bend of my elbow - on the inside of the arm,s o not the bony bit . IYSWIM.
Not there all the time just sometimes if I lift it to drink wine- lift things down from high cupboards, or bend it.
I put it down to my Fibromyalgia.

Then that area started getting very red and hot - it looks and feels like sunburn, and it looked slightly swollen. But again, not there all the time. Last night my knee caps went very red and swollen and itchy.
Now as Is aid above I put it down to my Fibro, but now I'm not so sure, as it's not happening at the same time as a flare up, plus my Fibro has never affected my joints, just the bits inbetween!

Hi SaltireOShanter! I've also got Fibro and I've never had anything like that - if it's on the tendon's maybe it's tendonitis? I actually have no clue and I hope someone comes along who might know. Do you have a GP you see, or are you under any chronic pain clinics/rheumatologists? Might be worth giving them a call if you can. Sorry I'm not more help! As you've said, it could be Fibro, goodness knows it causes all sorts of crazy reactions! Hope you feel better soon

Sounds like tennis elbow, but im not a doctor, which is why you need to go see one :)

I've only had one more heat episode since I posted this. DS1 has decided I am allergic to carrots, as it's been on days when there has been carrots . The pain is stil there though
Off to the doc on Monday i think !
