Since the day before yesterday I've been having intermittent twinges of numbness in the area about two inches up and two inches across from my belly-button, on the left hand side. Kind of in a little way from my lower ribcage. Feels like whatever organ is there (spleen? stomach? no idea!) is kind of going numb and tingly for a moment or so, or even as if its kind of contracting for a moment.
When I type it up it sounds very dramatic but it's not quite as scary as it looks in print. At least I hope not! Could it be some kind of trapped nerve, or something I've pulled without realising? It's not painful but it's a very odd sensation indeed. I've had it before, a few months ago, but it only lasted an hour or so, on and off. This has been intermittent for 2 days.
