Strange symptoms- side effects or something else?

I am taking citalopram, for depression that comes from being a carer and all the associated exhaustion and crap.

Have started having these funny times- had about 4, one today- can be either mid morning or afternoon.

Basically I start to feel really cold- absolutely freezing, even if I put heating on and right through to my bones; have to get a duvet and sit on sofa, then feel shattered and crash out- nothing I do stops me falling asleep. Doesn't seem to be a link to worse night's sleep or anything.

Anyone ever encountered this please?

Have they started since you have been taking the citalopram?

When I first started taking sertraline it gave me all kinds or bodily weirdness for a good couple of weeks.

It could just be you are coming down with something though. Hope you feel better soon :)

Started about three weeks after. It's a PITA as the citalopram had me coping again and now I am at the point where I need a little help (with ds4) for different reasons

Just seen this (linked in the citalopram thread elsewhere). I've had this a few times, during the first month of starting citalopram (20mg). It seemed to happen to me in the evenings (about 1 or 2 hours after taking the tablet) - is that the same for you - when do you take your tablet? Not had it recently though (only been on it a couple of months) - although I'm always cold (which is the opposite to how I usually am!).
