16 month ds threw up in the middle of the night the night before last, and then ate nothing yesterday save one piece of toast. He threw up badly last night and had a temperature all last night tho slept ok. His temp is down today but still a bit hot and refusing to eat. Any ideas on what to do? He is sipping water and breastfeeding a bit but that's it. Wonder if i should take him to docs tho he seems fairly happy but low key today.

Dont worry if he does'nt eat, just keep the fluids up, I often ring my local surgery and speak to a doctor for advice, it saves dgagging the kids out when they are poorly, and if the gp is concerned ask for a home visit.

thanks WF, I'm waiting for doc to call me. But they pretty much refuse to do home visits here unless they really have to!

give diorilite, the best thing to stop dehydration.

thanks for advice. He's over the worst now, ate a bit this morning. I've got it now tho, threw up all night!
