persistent wind/bloating

Hello!
Just over a month ago, I had a day where I felt horrendous, doubled over with stomach pains. During the night I threw up fairly dramatically, but on one occasion only. I felt significantly better after that, but didnt eat properly for a few days.
However, since then I have had persistent trapped wind and/or bloating. It seems to get better after a few days, so I stop taking the Windeze caps, but then it returns again. Although I am eating and drinking normally again, it is as though my bowel has just never gone back to 100% normal. Basically what happens is my bowel and/or stomach (behind the ribs) feels full of gas, but I dont usually feel the urge to get rid of it, so it's not like a "normal" trapped wind feeling. In any case, if I DO get rid of it, it almost instantly fills with gas again.
I have been taking Windeze capsules for the past couple of weeks, and a few days ago started drinking Actimel drinks, one a day.

What more can I do, if anything? Any ideas?

Hiya, wind and bloating are normal during pregnancy I've been told. someone gave me these tips below. They seem to offer some relief.

Eat several small meals throughout the day, don't gulp your food and chew thoroughly, sit up while you're eating or drinking so that your stomach isn't squashed while you digest your food, wear loose, comfortable clothing so there isn't any tightness around your waist and tummy and take some exercise. Even a brisk walk can help your sluggish digestive tract.

Finally, don't smoke or chew gum, as both make you produce more saliva, which means more swallowing.

Hope this helps!:)
