I?ve been having back pain somewhere between by shoulder blades for about 12 weeks now ? I assumed I?d pulled a ligament or something, and wasn?t too worried. Since then, I?ve come down with the same virus as everyone else in the world (seemingly) over Christmas, which has somehow turned into the weirdest joint pain I?ve ever experienced.
In the evenings for the last three nights, my wrists, upper back, and ankles have been incredibly tender and sore, and tonight it?s spread into my shoulder too. It?s bad enough to stop me sleeping and ibuprofen doesn?t seem to touch it. Much much better during the day time.
If it?s still going on by the end of the week, I?ll see the GP, but does anyone have any clue what might be going on? My glands are up a bit, and I?m knackered (but this could just be back-to-work generic knackeredness!).
