I have multiple chronic health problems, won't list them all. I also have a spinal cord injury with several fractured vetebrae.
I had an elective c section, and they aimed to try a spinal anathestic first before a general anathestic. Soon after the spinal anathestic was given, my heart rate went up to 200 beats, severe chest pain, pain in left shoulder and tingling in my left arm, boiling hot sweating, felt like i was passing out and couldn't breathe.
Obviously I was in a state and they said my brain wasn't getting enough oxygen because of my heart. If the medication to slow my heart down didn't work they would have to put me asleep and shock me.
Anyone else have this happen to them during a c section?
