My 1 Yr Old has a Dry Cough - any suggestions?

Hi, All. DD seems to be developing a cough - at the moment it doesn't seem chesty and is dry. Have you any suggestions as to what I could give her or what I could do to ease it so that hopefully it doesn't get any worse?

ds2 has just got over a dry cough which like a lot of coughs got much worse at night. i put humidifiers on the radiators to put some moisture back in the air. has she got a cold as well?

i gather theres not a lot you can do with coughs except wait for them to pass.

lots of steamy showers and plenty of fluids. Can she have a bottle of water in her cot or is she too young to take it herself?
Raise the end of her cot at her head end.
