Need to rant, transplant list and VADs.

ffs, found out today that people on VADs are NOT considered high prioity on the list. this nightmare could be going on longer than we first thought. ARRRRRRRRRGHHHHH!! peter is pretty certain he was told he'd still be high prioity, as is another patient there. turns out they are not

Oh misdee! Who said that they were high priority, and why different now?

Who told you that Misdee? Was it a doctor, or someone who is definitely going to be right about it? Sounds awful if it is correct.

peter told me today. dunno who told him. but he hasnt had a call in the 2.5months since he went on the list this time. bearing in mind that at this point last time he'd had 3 calls.

apparently they are trying to overturn that rule. its because they (the VAD patients) are stable because of the machines. they are not detoriating. which makes sense. but its also so

I know i am being silly, afterall he is alive now and he wouldnt have been if he hadnt had the VAD op. I should be grateful, not stropping cos he isnt at the top of the list. i should be grateful he hasnt got a need anymore to be at the top of the list.
