Stomach bug but no sickness

Has anyone else had anything like this? Since Sat I've had really bad stomach cramps, getting gradually worse. Last night I was in agony, the pain was relentless and I had very watery diarrhea through the night.

Still bad pain and the runs today so I went to see the GP who said it was probably a bug. I've never heard of a stomach bug with no sickess first, anyone else had this? I am actually a vomit-phobic so it's good news for me anyway in spite of the pain! And how long does it take to recover fully? I have a BIG birthday celebration at the weekend!

I have something similar today. Couldn't go to work as could not leave the vicinity of the toilet - suspect I may be off again tomorrow. It's carnage, quite frankly. Not been sick naturally although made myself sick this morning to see if it would help - it didn't.

Does it mean I won't be sick now? It's always a big worry for me.

None of us were sick

Thank you - and how long did it take to go?

Half my family, me and Toad (Ds) have had it in the last few weeks.
Never sick, just very drained, weak and shivery.

Lasted about 3 days or so.
