Anyone ever had a tooth extracted?

I had a molar extracted on Tuesday. It's been fine, a bit bruised but no real pain and I've been gargling regularly with salty water. The dentist told me to avoid rice 'for a few days' as it might get stuck in the hole (sorry if TMI)...I really want a curry for dinner Smile - is 4 days long enough or should I avoid rice for longer?

Dentist here. Just eat the other side. If you get rice in the hole just leave it there. FGS don't go poking at it. Your body will deal with it fine. Enjoy the curry!

Thank you for your help. The curry was great...the diet starts today Smile.
