help! tooth ache from hell

Need some advice really..........
Saw out of hours dentist today who said I had a broken wisdom tooth and gave me antibiotics and told me to get in touch with a dentist.........
So
1.How long will the amoxycillin take to work? I have an abcess and its very painful :{

1. Do I have to wait until I finish the antibiotics until they will remove it?
2. Can they do that at the dentist?
3. Is it going to cost me an arm and a leg? No one is taking on NHS patients where I live.
4. I have been taking paracetamol and tramodol for the pain as its constant, any other suggestions? Can't have aspirin/ ibrufen because of crohns disease.

How's it going wannabe? I didn't make it to the dentist today, but I've been swilling with salt water because my pain is getting really bad. Maybe I'm having sympathy pains with you.

Have you tried to salt water? It really does help.

Well not in as much pain as antibiotics have kicked in but still feel like I have flue and using tramodol.
Have just got to be patient I assume and wait for the appointment :}

Bloody tooth is off again and am seeing doctor as I feel like my whole jaw is infected. Sweating all the time [ attractive] and feel a bit loopy from all the pain killers......... :{

Are you nearing the time when you can be seen by a proper dentist? This is so bad you know. Feel for you.

Hope so although not heard anything yet. I am on steriods at the mo for crohns and when I bit into something the other day the top of another tooth came off............ Bloody teeth. I can see me having pegs by the time I am forty!!
