raised patch on arm started bleeding

I've had a very small lump of rough raised skin on my forearm for rather too long that I've been ignoring. I scratched it yesterday -was itching a bit and it started bleeding so I looked at it and it has grown quite a bit (still smaller than the blunt end of a pencil) and I've got a new patch starting next to it. I'm probably really high risk for skin changes as I've had a lot of uv therapy for psoriasis since I was little.

Feels a bit silly taking something so weeny to the doctors but I'm going to have to get it looked at arent I.

Yes you're going to have to get it looked at. Could be something, could be nothing but either way you need to know.

I do. Hey ho, better to feel foolish by taking a nothing to the gp than to regret not going.

It does need looking at, but is most likely to be a solar keratosis which they just freeze off, so not scary

cool - thanks CMOT :) (does freezing hurt when they do it?)

My friend has had two done on her face, and she says although its not exactly pleasant, its quite bearable iyswim. Same process as having a wart frozen

thanks :) will book an appt once the gp surgery is back open. Bit impatient to get it sorted now.
