i have had pain in my back and a bit of stiffness since i had c sectons, the last of which was 4yrs ago.due to unrelated issues i spent time watching tv at night as couldnt kip and went through a phase of sleeping on the sofa.i now find when i go to bed and stretch out properlyi wake in agony with back spasms in the pelvic area of my back.its so bad i cant move and my automatic response is to go back to the sofa to sleep.i also have a dull ache like a pulled muscle regulary and spend a lot of time with the comfort of heat on my back.is it just age and the fact ive had 4 kids or do i go and see the gp?

may be worth your while seeing a chiropractor or physio instead of GP , or if you want to wait for nhs go and ask for a referral
