Arnica pills for swelling post surgery?

With the usual clause about how homeopathy may just be a load of woo/heavily reliant on the placebo effect, etc, if I wanted to take arnica pills to help with swelling after major abdominal surgery what strength should I take? Am looking on Amazon and am confused..... And yes, I know if I'm going to do this properly I should consult a qualified homeopathic practitioner. But that's just not going to happen right now.
Happy New Year everyone [hgrin]

Dr Lockie website says 30c (I was going to say the same), interestingly both calendula and hypericum are known as herbal tinctures anyway (and herbal teas) :)
hope it goes well for you

Don't take the arnica before the surgery, wait until afterwards. I had major abdominal surgery 2 years ago and made the mistake of taking arnica prior to the op to help with swelling and pain. Huge mistake because I ended up bleeding out a lot. First question surgeon asked as I came round was "did you take arnica?". He was very nice about it though - just me being proactive in all the wrong places as usual!

Thanks for the tip. Am 4 weeks post surgery, but have another lot scheduled for May-ish. So good to know not to take beforehand....
