post op rectocele

Hi, i had a posterior repair operation 6 weeks ago for rectocele. I thought my post op appointment with my consultant should be after about 10 weeks, but i recieved it today.....its not until May 2012, which is 6 and half months after op. I am so unhappy about this and wondered if anyone else had to wait this long

Im 51 so im not a lot younger....havent had sex yet...quite worried to!! No doubt i will soon though. I have talked to someone about my concerns about post op appointment and they are looking into it
