Bladder pain

DS was born via EMCS nearly 11 months ago. I had a catheter in for at least 4 days afterwards, and experienced some pain in the bladder when urinating after it was removed.
I've had no similar problems in the intervening months, but over the last week or so I've been getting pain in my scar area (I also presume where the bladder is?) both while urinating and when I need to urinate.
Has anyone else had this? Should I bother a GP?

I'm going to assume I will never really be the same again down there tbh! But if you are having increasing problems and pain I would see a GP.

I mentioned it to the doctor today and she took a urine sample. She dipped it and found some white blood cells so she's sent it to the lab. I have to ring next week - hopefully it's just a mild infection.
