Eczema undergarments

My brother has quite bad eczema at the moment. It is especially bad on his hip/upper leg/thigh. I know that a boy I taught used to wear like thermal underclothes under his uniform to stop them making it worse, and I wondered if anyone knew what type to get and where from, from experience? He is a grown up btw!

TBH I'd have thought that thermals would make it 100% worse. Eczema needs to be kept cool- so cotton pants are best. My son- an adult- has quite bad eczema and he wears baggy cotton boxers from Next.

Thank you. I know they aren't thermals asthat clearly would make it worse. They were like silk or cotton things - I've found some called dermasilk but didn't know if these were any good.
