Bleeding just after period.

Hi, i just finished my period yesterday (Friday) morning. No blood all day yesterday, then this morning i've just been to loo and there was bright red blood when i wiped (a few times just to check) I've never had this before, do you think its anything to worry about? I'm on Microgynon (for over a year) if that makes any difference.

I was on Microgynon (several years ago now) and bled as you are doing. A trip to the GP found that I had cervical erosion which means I was a bit "raw" up there caused in my case by Microgynon. GP cauterised it for me and changed the pill brand, no problems since. This was my experience it may be different for you of course, suggest you see your GP though. Hope this helps :)

That sounds painful!? Did your bleeding last a few days/weeks? and were you on the pill a while before this happened?

Yes I was taking the pill for a while beforehand. Think I went to Doctors quite soon after it happened as I didn't want to get caught out with the bleeding. Doc did internal and said he would put things right, so went back to surgery and he did so. Was so long ago now..... but it didn't hurt the only strange thing was the smell....... of burning! Lol he was sort of soldering me I suppose. Said afterwards I would get "grey bits" come down and sure enough tiny bits did indeed appear but not for long. That was the end of that, changed the pill and no problems since. Suppose all this happened 20 or so years ago whether the procedure is still the same I'm not sure.
Strongly suggest you find out what this might be.......... and I would be interested to know if it's this or not. :)

I do this regularly. Finish af and can go a couple days with nothing then seem to have a mini af. Usually its dtd that sets it off but last a few days but is not always set of by this. I'm not on any pill. Been to docs who have done a few tests and they don't know
