So I'm expecting it to be nasty but it's like I can't use tampons anymore it hurts to get them in and out!

It was a biggie, but not cataclysmic, and I felt happier with towels.
It decided to start in the middle of the first party we'd had since dds were born, when they were six months old!

I don't like towel but might have to get some tomorrow. Don't understand it as had ELCS so no trauma!!

I've not felt comfy with tampons since, i think you can be a bit 'dry' for a while and it's just really uncomfy. I use towels at the moment which I was a bit boo hoo about, they were massive last time I used one, now much more absorbant, slim and you can get them to suit your knicker style.

I had awful cramps and an average flow, compared to before DD, the cramps were much worse than I thought, took paracetemol and chocolate.

Arrived at 6 months, but has disappeared again now DD is being a boob monster at 12 months, much more comfort feeding with teething.

Just about to start a thread about this, handy!

Ds is 6 mths and ebf. I had light bleeding 2 mths ago and felt flu-y, dr diagnosed retained membranes and slight infection. Course of ABs and I was fine. I have felt ill for 24 hours now and am bleeding, but much more like a period; bright red, not smelly, quite heavy. Phoned dr to check but he said unlikely to be period due to ebf and to 'keep an eye on how I am feeling'.

I feel it is my period returning, surely it's unlikely to be another infection/retained tissues type thing, what do people think?

Thanks for any advice.

My dd is seven months and ebf too this is def period as I ovulated a few weeks ago. She's dropped feeds recently which is why I think it's back
