Anyone else here who can smell sneezes?

Ok, I have a sensitive sense of smell, and my friends/family always look at me like I'm making it up, but it's true! I can smell sneezes.
It smells HORRIBLE. Especially if I am coming down with a cold and I can smell my own sneeze.
If people don't cover their mouth when they sneeze, I can smell their sneezes too.
Am I the only one?

Yes, I can smell sneezy kids.

Yes, me too, although always thought it was in my head! It makes me feel sick. I have terrible eyesight so I think my sense of smell makes up for it!

Yes I can smells my dh's sneezes they are foul particularly if we are in the car and I can't get away them!

Florin - I hear you. My DH's sneezes are the worst, or up there with my dad's sneezes at least.
It's a curse to be able to smell sneezes. I wonder what percentage of us can actually smell them?
Do you have a good sense of smell in general, or you just smell sneezes?

Yes yes me and my husband do! Except our sneezes smell flowery! Never been able to work out why. Tis very strange...

Its a weird thing to say but this smell is the same smell that people who have suffered severe head injury emit from their mouths & noses.

It is very distinctive, very strong and very unpleasant.
I would recognise it anywhere. (weirdo)

surely it is the snot you are smelling, rather than the sneeze?

Yep, assumed everyone could. I don't thinkive got a particulary good sense of smell. It's very distinctive and I can also smell my own. Yuk
