I have noticed a few times that my lower right abdomen (ovary area) is swollen. If I suck my stomach in and lean back you can clearly see that the right side protrudes much more than the left. It doesn't hurt BUT I have in the past had to have an ultra sound scan on my ovaries because of short, sharp bursts of pain on my right side. They found nothing wrong with my ovaries and the pain stopped so I forgot about it but thinking back, could that pain have been related to whatever is swelling up now?
I've just looked online and my other symptoms seem to point to a hernia (or colon cancer but I'm going with Hernia!) such as painful sex, no appetite, constipation and localised swelling.
The only thing I don't have, is pain.
I also seem to be putting weight on quite quickly (about 2lbs a week) without a change in my diet. No chance of pregnancy btw.
What do you reckon? anyone ever had a hernia this low down? What else could it be? I'm forever having problems with my bowels, could it just be blocked poo?
