I have a small raised sore spot on my tongue. I had one a few weeks ago which disappeared after a couple of days and now have a different one in different bit of tongue making it hard to use that side to eat. Any idea what it is and how to stop it hurting. Dd's teething gel on it had no effect!

Mouth ulcer? If so you can get stuff that you put on and burns it away - hurts A LOT but works

You could just be a bit low then and getting mouth ulcers as a result, do you take vit c or zinc? if they get to the stage where you always have one popping up or have more than one see your gp.

I know it seems trivial but they are paid to look after us.

Yeah I know. Just seems trivial. Have to go for something else anyway so will mention.
