Hi guys after my 3rd period I am beginning to realise that I have PMS for the first time ever, my dh was kind enough to have the 'snip' for want of a better phrase so that I didn't have to have the pill any more (I am 36) but it seems that i definitely feel like I need an oestrogen based pill, maybe even for a few months until my body settles a bit more after baby?? i have been fine up until recently so I can only imagine my body may need some oestrogen if i am going to be better during my cycle, any advice/recommendations welcome!

Hi I struggle with PMS and I definitely think it gets worse after having DC.

You could see your doctor and get some advice on managing it and possibly get your hormones checked out. In the meantime you could try magnesium supplements, Vit B6 and avoid caffeine as much as possible. Also eat small amounts frequently every 3-4 hours. Wholemeal bread is good.

I started on HRT a few months a go which gave me PMT for the first time in my life! Last month I started taking Oil of Evening Primrose capsules, 3000mg a day and sailed through my period with no vile mood swings, no sore swollen breasts and no cravings/increase in appetite so I highly recommend it. It is a natural hormone regulator but I never quite believed it's claims until I tried it.
