I was told 3 times I didn't have a chest infection but asthma .. It turned out I had such a severe undiagnosed by doctors chest infection I ended up being ambulanced (with flashing light) to hospital and put on oxygen, chest x-ray and 4 courses of really scarily strong anti-biotics and 6 weeks of inability to move and look after my children

please take this seriously and go to your doctors

starlover · 07/01/2006 16:26

i was going to say it sounds like a chest infection!

spacecadet · 07/01/2006 16:28

Twiglett · 07/01/2006 16:29

sorry didnt mean to scare you! if you had pnuemonia you wouldnt be able to get out of bed and would have a temp of about 39, but you might be in the early throes of a chest infection.

please do see a gp yourself though if symptoms dont go away, and or if you develop a temp.
there are a lot of virus;s round at the moment which seem to be developing into chest infections.
