Who has had a camera stuck up their nose then ?

My appt has come through for the 12th and I don't really know what to expect .

Is it as uncomfortable as it sounds ?

Will they tell me anything on the day ?

Calming vibes welcome .

Had it done last year, no numbing spray. Nurse let me squeeze her hand whilst Dr did it. Up both sides and down throat once. Not pleasant but not horrendous.
I had a big neck lump and with history of thyroid probs they were checking it out. Told me there and then nothing suspect.

Unexpected, no pain but nervous laughter (whilst tube was being inserted) not a common reaction apparently! instant result - sinus infection - remedied with a course of strong antibiotics. I hope your visit is as pain free.

I had that done when I saw an ENT consultant a few months ago, he didn't use a numbing spray or anything and I didn't know he would before I attended the appointment, but it was fine. Uncomfortable, rather than painful - made my eyes water and I must have winced noticeably because the nurse handed me a tissue and asked if I was ok, but really it wasn't that bad, and it was very quick too, all over in less than two minutes. I went in for facial/sinus pain and he told me right there and then that my septum has been broken at some point and has a very sharp kink in it, which may or may not be the reason for the problems.
