Pain after mammogram

Had a routine mammo 3 days ago and keep getting a shooting pain on my arm side of one boob- mainly when I move. Nothing to feel when I press it- just movement or sometimes when just sitting.

I've also got a virus and slightly sore glands so maybe it's that.

anyone ever had the same?

possibly sore glands, or just reaction to being squished between the plates - am sure it's nothing to worry about- was it your first ?

Thanks Smile no it was my 3rd- am in my 50s.

It was done privately in London and dr was due to look at results on Tuesday and feeback to my gynae- so far heard nothing.

Hope everything comes back clear - do you have one every year ?

Thanks MAS.

No, not every year- I am in my 50s and have them every 2-3 years. Since starting HRT my specialist suggested I bring them forward slightly and not wait for the NHS recall at 3 years.

ah,I think a friend of mine may have them every year as part of her private health care -she certainly has a routine breast and gynae check up. I am in 50s too and had breast cancer diagnosed in my first mammogram so am having yearly mammos for 5 years.
