We were supposed to go to my Mum's for a big family weekend, but even Imodium isn't helping me much this morning....probably a bug, DD been off her food for days too. Hoping 24 hours and a bit of rest will help ('bit'=rest with 2 yr old) but if anyone has any ideas, I'd be grateful..

Peppermint tea is good for the tummy cramps. Am not a great fan of immodium - if it's a bug it's better to clear it out IYKWIM! Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks! Yes, know what you mean re Imodium - just didn't know how else to cope with toddler needs today. Will try tea.

Poor you, it's grim looking after them when you're ill isn't it?

You poor thing . I found Immodium didn't touch the last bug I had. Clear fluids, Dioralyte if you have it, probiotics. If you feel up to it try a broth or clear soup for lunch

You have no idea (ok yes, you probably do) how nice a bit of sympathy feels this minute. Thanks! Though as DH is now taking DD for an hour or so I'm not sure I deserve it! Will go hunt down some probiotics..
