Epsom salts

Oh my Lordy...dh has an abscess on his posterior, he was advised to use Epsom Salts to help draw the gunk out. Anyways, Saturday afternoon all small chemists closed, medium sized Boots where I live doesn't stock, Morrisons and Sainsburys where I live also doesn't stock.
I don't really want to haul my sorry butt to a major shopping centre on a busy Saturday afternoon but will do if necessary.
Does anyone know of any other major retailers where I can buy this...DH seems to think I can buy it anywhere. Hmm

A hot, salt water poultice should work too, sea salt is probably more salty.

Thanks for your reply, DH has had a salty bath now though I will continue my search tomorrow.

Small pharmacists can order it in but you may want it sooner. My local large boots often don't have it but the little Co-op one usually does. Perhaps ring around?

Have you tried magnesium sulphate paste? A chemists should have it.
