Which contraception do you use???

Strangely enough I've started back on the pill again today after a 9 year break. In between pgs I've tried pretty much everything (short of sterilisation!) and the pill seems to be the only one that my disorganised head can get round. Condoms tend to lead to using the withdrawal method, as we never remember to use them (DS2 was concieved by continual use of condom under the pillow rather than on the willy ) Depo made me very ill, coil made me bleed heavily for 3 months before I got it out. Hopefully I'll get to stay on it for a while, as apart from being overweight I'm pretty low risk.

The patch. Never remember to take the pill, coil causes heavy bleeding(borderline anemia), can't have implant or depo injection because of history of depression, don't fancy diaphram or cap. Still use condoms though as don't need another child just yet!

mirena coil, as having previously had the depo injection and thus put on 3 stone in weight, averaging 6 pounds per injection!!!

condoms. fell pg using the cap, def wud't recommend it.

Think I'll go for the coil in the short term and lead DH down the vasectomy path medium term. Erm - what's the difference between a mirena coil and a normal one

Vasectomy - and I strongly recommend it. Hate condoms and pill doesn't suit me as I then have no sex drive so don't need any form of contraception!!
