Pain in uterus and cervix

Avenged · 21/11/2011 19:32

Have been getting pain in my uterus and cervix. It feels like my uterus and cervix are being ripped out. I'm on Butrans patches (20mg over 7 days), Celebrex (100mg), Pregabalin (50mg) and paracetamol (1g every 4-6hrs).

I thought it was something to do with my period initially, but my period has finished and this started after that.

Could anyone shed some light on what may be wrong?

How long have you had this sort of pain for?. You're taking a lot of painkilling type stuff as well; who prescribed this to you?.

Any pain that is cyclical in nature ought to be checked out properly by a gynae to see if endometriosis is actually present.

Hi Ladies thanks for your replies, hope you don't mind me giving you some Thanks for getting back to me. It's much appreciated.

Atilla this has never happened before, It only started after my period had finished. I don't normally go to the GP unless I'm in severe pain. It's excruciating and have tried to make an appointment with my GP to no avail (walked to the surgery like John Wayne Grin). The surgery wanted me to phone them from 8.30am (I'm leaving the house with the kids at that time to take them to school) and by 9am all the appointments are taken up (I don't get back until after 9am and DH is at MIL's in the morning so I'm stuffed TBH as I'm the only one to drop kids off). I've explained that walking into the surgery, after school run, to make an appointment is the only way I could do it, but no, I have to ring them.
