Waiting for my GP surgery to call back.

I am rarely ill. Work as a nurse in the private sector.

Past few days I've had upper/middle back pain spread right across, worse on inspiration and a disgustingly thick post-nasal drip and sinus headache.

Thought the pain was muscular at first as it IS also worse on moving but now aching all the time no matter what position. Paracetemol, brufen, heat pads are NOT working.

We have NOT been offered the flu jab Angry despite having patients admitted with pneumonia and a high turnover of patients.

My GP surgery is ridiculous though, no same day appointments, only minor illness practice nurse (which I've settled for, just need someone to listen to my chest really) BUT you can't get an appointment until somebody phones you back to decide if your problem is legit enough to have a sameday appointment Grin

Last time I waited 4 hours for somebody to call me back (so didn't shower or anything, waiting for call) only to be given an appointment for twenty minutes time at the surgery which is 10 minutes away. Angry
